In order for children to like and excel at math, the first required skill is the calculation of numbers.
We’ve seen many textbooks and games that make children practice calculation of numbers, emphasizing fast calculation.
However, we have experienced that only a few games help students truly understand the different types and nature of numbers.
That is why we developed “Battle of the Numbers,” a strategy game leveraging numbers and characteristics of numbers, and “NUMBER LET’S GO,” a game that will help improve children’s basic calculation ability while playing them.
The second, The second required skill is the ability of comparison.
Often, elementary schools teach expression that used in comparing quantity in form of rations, percentages or divisions.
However, children often find it difficult to understand the concept of ratios in various forms even after learning them.
“B-BINGO” is created to support them as it naturally exposes children to the concept of rates, ratios, decimals, fractions, divisions, and percentage and make them repeatedly use them to win the game.
The third, required skill for children to be greater at math is the ability to think.
Once children are familiar with basic numbers and calculations, the most essential ability to be good at math is the ability to think: Understanding the given math questions, being able to connect one idea to another to understand the concept, the ability to bring in more complicated mathematical concepts that are necessary into the question.
Many children do not like math despite their good calculation skills because they do not find fun in studying math that results in poor thinking skills.
We put in tremendous efforts from the early stages of the game production in order to help children learn the basic concepts of math and make children develop their thinking skills while having fun and not losing interest in learning math.
As the result, we have created “Battle of the Numbers,” “B-BINGO,” and “NUMBER LET’S GO.”
